Job description

We have an opportunity for a confident and highly motivated Operative to operate all mobile plant and equipment to the highest standards to maximise production in a cost effective manner at our Cement Silo in Glasgow.

The Operator/Maintainer is required to operate the Terminal Plant and equipment and undertake basic plant maintenance duties, all as authorized by the Terminal Manager, and within the scope of his/her experience and training.

What will you bring?

• A working knowledge of health and safety procedures and protocols.
• Ability to operate plant and its equipment's in a cost effective way.
• Excellent communication, planning and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• A flexible work approach.
• Experience in operation and basic maintenance of plant and equipment for the off-loading of ships, loading of vehicles and any other required equipment in line with established procedures and training.
