Job description

Company Overview: Our is a leading Facilities Management company dedicated to providing high-quality services to our clients across various industries. With a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, we are expanding our team and seeking a talented Contract Manager to oversee and manage key client contracts.

Position Overview: As a Contract Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution and delivery of facilities management services to our clients. You will be responsible for managing client contracts, fostering strong relationships, and ensuring that service delivery aligns with contractual agreements and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  1. Contract Delivery Management:

    • Responsible for the successful and profitable delivery of contracts within a portfolio.
  2. Financial Management:

    • Compile and present monthly financial applications to the customer for payment, ensuring full auditability.
    • Proactively manage Work in Progress (WIP) and Debt, compiling Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) documentation quarterly to mitigate financial risk/loss.
  3. Health and Safety Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation associated with contracts and company policy.
  4. Performance Analysis and Improvement:

    • Analyse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance, identifying areas for improvement and driving initiatives through management and delivery teams.
  5. Supplier Management:

    • Support the performance management of key suppliers, ensuring delivery to required standards.
  6. Management Reporting:

    • Create and distribute key management information reports to customers and internally.
  7. Customer Interface:

    • Undertake a key customer interface role across all sites, ensuring visibility and approachability.
  8. Exemplifying Business Values:

    • Role model business values and behaviours, promoting equality, diversity, inclusivity, and a positive colleague culture.
  9. Tactical Management:

    • Accountable for the tactical management and delivery of the scheduling process within the defined span of control.
  10. Team Leadership and Development:

    • Lead, motivate, support, and develop a team of building trades, adhering to people management processes and fostering a culture of performance management and continuous improvement.
  11. Management Team Contribution:

    • Act as a proactive member of the Management team, leading product-wide improvement programmes/projects and ensuring consistent rollout of contract programmes of work.
  12. Employee Development and Talent Management:

    • Responsible for employee development, succession planning, employee empowerment, talent management, and support for talent pipelines such as apprenticeships.
  13. Business Growth Support:

    • Drive business growth within the span of control and support new business costing, tendering, and mobilisation efforts.
  14. Operational Issue Management:

    • Manage operational issues, escalations, and resolutions with stakeholders, participating in management on-call escalation when necessary.

Location: Central London

Salary: £65,000 + benefits + bonus

Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm
