Are you seeking a new career opportunity? Do you have the skills and experience to work with Oracle and SAP Business Objects in a complex and dynamic environment?

We are looking for a Senior IT Engineer to bepart of a team that supports Buckinghamshire Council’s ICT application needs. If you have experience upgrading, maintaining, and patching SAP Business Objects and providing Oracle technical expertise for licensing and technical issues, this role is perfect for you.

We require the successful applicant to work in our Aylesbury offices for a minimum of two days per week.Applications for part-time hours would be considered, please indicate your preference on your application.

About us

As our senior applications analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting software applications and systems for our business users that focus on Oracle and SAP Business Objects. A great understanding of Microsoft’s Power Tools, including Power BI, Power Automate and Power Apps will also be an advantage.

About you

Are you an IT professional with a passion for solving problems and providing excellent customer service? Do you have a strong technical background in software applications and server administration? If so, you might be the perfect candidate for this position.

Given the breadth and diversity of our customer base, you will be expected to support a diverse range of IT systems and will need a strong problem-solving mindset underpinned by great technical skills to deliver our customer needs. The post holder will also provide guidance and advice on how to use our applications effectively and efficiently.

The successful candidate will be based in our Walton Street offices in the heart of Aylesbury town as a “any desk” worker. As this is a career-graded post the salary will be based on your experience and skill set. The career grade salary range is G8 to G9.
