We wish to recruit an excellent practitioner with proven leadership qualities to lead and teach music to all Key Stages. The successful candidate will be central to the school’s continued success, and will play a key role in furthering the Headteacher’s vision to ensure the young people in our care are afforded the very best Catholic education. 

The department is part of a vibrant Performing Arts Faculty currently applying for Arts Mark status to enhance students' broader cultural education. You will work closely with the other members of the faculty to produce an annual whole school musical and also to raise the visibility of the Performing Arts within the school and the community. We offer a range of extra-curricular clubs and support students to play a lead role in the school’s liturgical life in Masses and assemblies.

The school enjoys a long record of academic success and high quality pastoral care, founded upon the Gospel values that underpin our support of young people to become the best versions of themselves.

Our most recent Ofsted report notes that, ‘Pupils are taught in a caring and supportive environment. Pupils and staff describe it as being part of a community and some a ‘big family’. Pupils are safe, well cared for and valued. Pupils know that staff are there for them.’
