The Role
Reporting to the VP, Human Resources, this Reading, England based position will play a key role on our global HR team, serving as the HR leader for our Europe region.
In addition, you will work with the regional HR team to serve as a solution focused business partner, on-site and operational leader, and advisor to Business Leaders driving key HR strategies impacting business performance in the region. These include organizational design, compensation cycles and retention strategies, employee and leadership development and workforce planning and performance management coaching. In this role you will use your knowledge of HR to diagnose, implement and confer on HR processes and programs, and work with other members of the HR team to drive enterprise and region-specific initiatives in support of the business strategy and goals.
Your Impact
- Build and deliver regional specific HR initiatives in support of the business strategy. Cultivate strong and influential working relationships with client leadership team and employees.
- Drive talent management initiatives to identify, assess, develop, engage, and reward successful and high potential talent.
- Ensure the success of key programs and HR initiatives, such as talent reviews, succession planning, on-boarding, hiring, operational improvements and employee development planning.
- Assess, design, and implement change management strategies/programs for regional HR initiatives; brokers with COEs to provide the right resources for the initiative to ensure successful outcomes.
- Partner with regional people leaders to shape the culture and maximize employee engagement.
- Use data, measures, and analytics to influence decisions and guide prioritization and investment of resources.
- Cultivate strong and influential working relationships with client leadership team and employees.
- Coach and counsel leaders and managers. Provide tools and guidance that enable management effectiveness and drive high organizational performance.
What You'll Need
- Strong operational experience, focused on HR processes, policies and compliance in Europe region.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience required.
- 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources management supporting a global organization.
- Proven ability to align AspenTech’s People strategy to business needs for a measurable impact.
- Collaborative and customer-focused with ability to develop strong and influential business relationships.
- Proven capabilities in guiding organizations through business transformations, with periods of significant scale and change.
- Demonstrated experience successfully working with and negotiating with Works Councils.
- Comfortable to challenge the status quo with a passion to deliver results in a dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to work effectively with remote multiple sites over great distances.
- Independent thinking and innovative mind, with an ability to be resourceful when needed.
