Trainee Sales Estimator
Our client, a well-established Global Service Provider, is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Trainee Sales Estimator to join their diverse team based in Dublin 12. With over 20 years of proven growth and exceptional performance, their goal is to deliver excellence & be their customers best service provider.
As a Trainee Sales Estimator, you will act as an assistant to, and be mentored by, a top Account Executive working with a highly reputable, international contractor, and will aim to become a high-performing Sales Executive.

The Ideal Candidate:
If you have the following skills, you will be a great fit for the role, and we want to hear from you:
- A third-level qualification in engineering, electronics, construction, or a similar discipline (highly desirable).
- Numerate, IT literate, and articulate.
- Excellent written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of data analysis.
- Ability to manage documentation with punctuality in report submissions.
- Methodical, analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Analysing, evaluating, and performing risk analysis on supplier and subcontract packages.
- Compiling and maintaining cost data reports.
- Engaging with the operations/project team to agree budgets before pre-start handover meetings.
- Maintaining client relationships throughout commercial negotiations.
- Identifying opportunities and deficits in tender documents for commercial leverage.
- Liaising with the Account Executive and senior management on contractual concerns and ensuring timely submissions.
- Supporting the tender process.
- Obtaining quotes from subcontractors and suppliers, computing costs, and maintaining a fit-for-purpose cost database.
- Producing estimates by gathering proposals, quotes, specifications, and related documents.
