Estimator / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Chester, England

£55,000 - £65,000 (dependent on experience) + bonus scheme + Car Allowance + Pension

This company are a construction company specialising in a range of projects, who have earnt themselves a notable reputation for their high quality work and customer satisfaction. Looking to expand the business with a number of exciting projects on the horizon, our client pride themselves on encouraging an enthusiastic environment whilst delivering a high level of service to their clients. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a driven and hard working individual to join the team.

In this role you will be based in their Chester office playing a crucial part in a number of exciting projects which will range in size. Working closely with the team, you will produce estimates, source and purchase the highest quality materials worldwide, negotiating logistics, pricing variations, ensure correct materials are ordered, attend site and tender meetings as well as conducting supplier visits.

The ideal candidate is a Senior Quantity Surveyor who is comfortable Estimating with several years' experience in the construction industry with a background in civil engineering. You will be looking to develop technically within a progressive company who have earnt themselves a notable reputation for their high quality work. The Role:

- Estimator / Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Acting to a higher degree of day-to-day decision making
-Manage your own desk
-Site inspections and attending site meetings
-Project management, inputting budgets
-Working with Bills of Quantities and producing take offs

Requirements:

-Relevant estimating experience within the construction industry within civil engineering
-Full UK Driving License
