KIMS Hospital is conveniently located just off junction 7 of the M20 motorway. Situated close to Maidstone.  

By car:

KIMS Hospital is located just off junction 7 of the M20 motorway. Take the exit off the roundabout for the A249 to Maidstone, stay in the left-hand lane and at the next roundabout take the turning for Bearsted. The hospital is signposted from here.

 

By train:

Maidstone is served by three railway stations with trains from London and the surrounding areas of Kent. All three stations are within a ten-minute car journey to KIMS Hospital. Although, Bearsted is the closest station to KIMS Hospital, please be aware that there are limited taxi services.

• Bearsted – 1.3 miles

• Maidstone East – 2 miles

• Maidstone West – 2.5 miles

• Maidstone Barracks – 3 miles

 

By bus:

You can get to KIMS Hospital by bus, take the number 9 or 509 from Maidstone town centre and disembark at the Vinters Park Crematorium stop.

3.COE, PRC card, PRC Board Rating, PRC Board Certificates, NBI, Passport

4.applied for an NMC certificate or evidence of ongoing application (OSCE ready is an advantage)

X9 positions for theatre practitioners with 2 years of working experience

£30,000 - £32,000 

 

PACKAGES:

·Flights (only applicable to staff coming over 200 miles or from abroad)

An economy one-way flight the limit/cost will be reviewed each year and approved by the Registered Manager. From Australia/New Zealand/US/India this limit is currently £800.  From Europe limit is £300 and the ticket or e ticket has to be produced to be reimbursed.  If the employee leaves within the first 2 years of employment then the flights will need to be reimbursed to theHospital.

 

·Luggage

The Hospital will pay the excess for luggage up to 60 kgs on the receipt of evidence of the payment.

 

·Transport from airport

The Hospital will pay for a single journey from the airport to the temporary accommodation when the overseas worker arrives to live in Kent.

 

·Accommodation Assistance for staff coming from abroad or 200 miles away

An employee who is relocating will be assisted with payment of rent/accommodation fees of up to £1900 on the provision of a rental agreement.

 

The Hospital has partnered with a relocation specialist company who will assist you with your search for suitable accommodation.  Any payment for this can be paid out of the £1900 accommodation assistance if unused on the production of an invoice or proof ofservice. 

 

This is a taxable benefit as it constitutes a benefit in kind.

 

If the employee should leave the Hospital within 3 months then the employee will need to pay back 100% of the accommodation allowance. If the employee leaves within 3-6 there will be a 75% paybackfrom the employee and if they leave between 6–24 months then the employee needs to pay back 50%.   

 

·Accommodation Assistance for staff coming from under 200 miles but more than 150 miles away

Will be reviewed on a case-by-casebasis but will be limited to a maximum of £500.

 

·Cash Advance Week 1 (only applicable to staff coming from abroad)

TheHospital will provide a cash advance of £150 a week for the first 4 weeks of employment to be paid back by the employee over the first 4 months of employment. This is to assist them to settle and to help them with any immediate purchases. This loan will need to be paid back from salary over the first 4 months of employment. This will be deducted automatically.

 

·Banking (only applicable to staff coming from abroad)

The Hospital will provide all new staff from abroad a letter of introduction to ensure that they can open a bank account straight away with an agreed Bank of which a branch can be found locally.

 

·Housing Guarantee

The Hospital will provide a letter of guarantee for landlords for the first 6 months of rental accommodation to assist staff.

 

·Education and Housing Information

The Human Resources Department can provide information on the local area.
