Responsibilities of this Workshop Engineer role:

- Conduct pre-delivery inspections on new coffee machines for installation.

- Service, repair, and overhaul traditional and automatic coffee machines to meet high-quality standards efficiently.

- Assist in general workshop and warehouse duties as needed.

- Accurately report faults and observations discovered during inspections.

Key Requirements of this Workshop Engineer role:

- Competence in safe electrical work and basic plumbing techniques.

- Proficient in fault finding, diagnostics, and pressure boiler inspections.

- Disassemble, clean, assess, and reassemble coffee machines; perform detailed testing.

- Conduct thorough Pre-Delivery Inspections to ensure safe and reliable equipment operation.

- Document all service and repair activities accurately.

Essential Skills of this Workshop Engineer role:

- Strong electrical/mechanical baseline experience.

- Ability to work with plumbing equipment.

- Experience in PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection), fault finding, and repairs.

- Familiarity with technical documentation and schematic analysis.

- Capability to identify and work with components like relays, sensors, valves, and CPUs.

- Proficiency in using tools like a multimeter.

Additional Information of this Workshop Engineer role:

- Starting salary range: £23,000 - £25,000

- Opportunity for career growth into field service roles.

- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, 1-hour lunch break (40-hour week).

- Overtime available at 1.5x rate

- Open to candidates with a mechanical background and basic electrical knowledge.
