Software Controls & Automation Coordinator

Moreton, Wirral, Merseyside, CH46 1PR

£45,000 to £50,000 per annum

As our Software Controls & Automation Coordinator, you will,

• Keep up to date with the latest technologies and practices.
• Be site custodian for ensuring all software changes are captured.
• Develop and champion change management processes for software updates.
• Be the owner of the obsolescence program.
• Deliver in-house training to upskill engineers on PLC and new software management processes.
• Manage controls based projects.

Do you offer?

• An HND, Engineering Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline (Mechatronic, Robotic, Software or Engineering).
• 3 years of relevant front line controls experience
• 2 years’ experience of Allen Bradley, Siemens and other major brands of PLC and SCADA/HMI platforms.
• 2 years software writing experience.
• Automation experience (Kuka preferred)
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience working in an engineering environment.

Salary and Benefits
