Job description
An award-winning urban design and landscape practice are looking for an Associate Environmental Planner to join their team based in one of their 8 offices across the UK. They are expanding their Planning Service working on major infrastructure projects as well as renewable energy projects too.
Responsibilities:
- Lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects through NSIP, DNS and TCPA planning processes
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Offer expert advice about potential setbacks in the planning process regarding the surrounding area and natural environment
Skills and Experience
- Excellent understanding of infrastructure planning and DCOs
- Demonstrable experience appraising issues, opportunities and risk to inform early project development and pre-application engagement and consultation
- Preparing documents and coordinating and submitting complex infrastructure planning applications
- Experience in Environmental Impact Assessment
- An interest in business development
- MRTPI accredited
