Job description
- A unique role that will put into practice your problem-solving skills and challenge you to work on complex high-tech products. You will lead the engineering support team and provide valuable insights into cross-functional areas. This company designs and manufactures cutting-edge technology, involving complex electromechanical components, so you would need to come from a high-tech engineering background such as Aerospace, Medical, Automation, or Robotics. As a Service Engineer, you will be the key point of contact for other service teams when they encounter challenging issues on products, therefore you will need strong knowledge of electromechanical complex systems. You will collaborate with other engineers and look at complex problems that you would need to identify and troubleshoot to ensure the right solution is carried out. Ideally, you will need to have at least three years of experience in a hands-on role where you can root find problems, and identify issues. Also, it would be beneficial if you have a qualification in Electronics or an Engineering discipline, but it is not essential. You will also provide training to members and occasionally travel to customers as a last resource. Furthermore, you will need to have the ability to read electrical and electronic schematics, alongside mechanical drawings. This role is looking for:
