Job description

I am working with a leading Financial Services firm based in Bermuda, who are seeking a qualified actuary to join their growing Actuarial & Financial Risk department. This role is Assistant Director level and reports directly to the Deputy Director.

Remote working is possible after probation has been passed.

Responsibilities:

• Strong focus on Underwriting, reserving, risk aggregation processes and evaluating capital requirements
• Contributing to the Department's efforts in utilising statistical and financial analyticfor development and application purposes
• Representing the firm at local and international meetings, conferences, and fostering key relationships with regulatory bodies /government agencies

Requirements

• Qualified Actuary
• 10 years of experience within the insurance industry
• Experience with insurance and reinsurance actuarial issues, including pricing, reserving, capital modelling, financial reporting and risk management
• Strong stakeholder management experience
