New contract available for an experienced Quality Engineer with a world leader in automotive safety systems. Your role will be to apply automotive quality tools, processes and working practices to ensure the companys products and its customer's expectations are met and continually improved. This is a contract position of 3-6 months to provide cover to the team during a period of heightened activity Your KPI's will include: -- Timely closure of and reduction in issues through prioritisation and completion of reactive non-conformance reports and pro-active continuous improvement activities -- Timely completion of first and second party audits, management reporting of, follow up and robust closure of identified non-conformities, observations and opportunities for improvement. Your Profile: -- Experienced quality engineer with customer facing experience gained in the automotive or other highly regulated sector such as aerospace or medical -- Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) -- Certification on the AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC & 8D) -- Implementation and/or auditing to the requirements of ISO9001, IATF16949, AS9100, ISO45001 (previously 18001), ISO14001, ISO50001, ISO27001 and/or ISO22301.
