SEND HLTA - ASD specialist - ASAP Start - Outstanding School - Hackney

Are you an experienced HLTA with extensive SEND experience?

(Qualification not a necessity)

If so, this could be the perfect HLTA opportunity for you, starting as soon as possible!!

We are actively looking to appoint a passionate, knowledgeable and experienced SEND HLTA to oversee, plan for and run an alternative provision classroom, alongside the Inclusion lead and qualified Speech & Language Therapist. As a HLTA you will be tasked with leading across two alternative provision groups for children with complex needs associated with ASD, with a mix of children in the secondary site.

Applicants will ideally have had experience as a HLTA, delivering specific ASD interventions, have an understanding of sensory needs and approaches to communication for pupils who do not have a functional communication system, you will not need to have a HLTA qualification.
