Job description
Our household is looking for a reliable live-in nanny. I am a doctor with a variety of long shift including night shifts. My husband will be working abroad from next year, and I am looking for a very reliable nanny for our family. Job to start approximately June 2024
Days: Monday-Wednesday, some weekends (average 1 in 4).
Times:
Weekdays 6:30am-9am, 3pm-10pm
Weekends: Variable, usually for evening and overnight. Must be available for the weekend shifts (these are informed as soon as I know my shifts).
I have two kids - currently 5 and 2. Our nanny will have to do pre-school errands (dress, breakfast and drop offs). Then pick-up from school, after school activities, dinner and bed times. Will be expecting to do some light housekeeping, including making beds, light food prep for kids (mostly done by myself), and cleaning up.
When I am on night shifts, nanny MUST be staying overnight. More than welcome to live-in Monday-Wednesday even if I am not on night shifts. Some full weekend day and nights nannying required too (as I do not get home until 10pm or later).
I work fixed Monday-Wednesdays (but this is subject to change) and some weekends (approximately 1 in 4 weekends).
Nanny will have own double bedroom with own TV and bathroom (shared with kids).
Must be okay with cameras (may have access). Must be on-time and very reliable due to my demanding work in the NHS with no unreasonable excuses. There will be no back-up for me, so I need somebody very serious please!
We are a Bengali and Muslim household, so must be appreciative of this. No men will be staying in the house whilst Nannying.
£300 net/week (negotiable based on experience).
