Head of TV and Film

From September 2024

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Head of TV & Film to join our busy and thriving Music & Media department in a rapidly developing, well supported and popular subject. This role is offered on a full-time basis from September 2024 in a supportive and team-orientated School.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic individual who will lead the department’s current teaching and learning strategies and develop their own teaching practice with our support. Our next Head of TV and Film will inspire and engage our students and actively lead and promote the subject both within and beyond the School community.  The postholder will be capable of delivering inspirational lessons and will have proven experience in delivering the BTEC Creative Media Production Level 2, and BTEC Digital Film and Video Production Level 3 courses. Applications are welcomed from experienced practitioners and particularly from those seeking additional responsibility.

As a visionary Head of TV & Film, you will combine deep knowledge of your discipline with the ability to engage students to create a lifelong love of learning, both within the classroom and within the department’s co-curricular programme.
