About the job

OCU are looking for experienced Engineering CAD / Surveyors to join our team to work on projects throughout the South of England.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out topographic surveys of sites establishing control where necessary.
• Setting out including profiles batter boards high accuracy concrete works etc.
• Carrying out progress surveys of works using GNSS and/or Total Station and by taking measurements and photographs to accurately plot newly installed utility service routes and other related construction works.

• Creation of aslaid records editing validation publication and submission of service records.
• Creation preparation and amendment of AutoCAD drawings and other electronic documentation.
• Assisting with the preparation and publication of project related and tender documentation.
• Maintain and check all survey equipment as required.

What do you need to be successful

• Candidate will be educated to graduate level.
• Land Surveying / Civil Engineering background.
• Use of Leica GNSS & Robotic TS equipment.
• AutoCAD 2D & 3D to an advanced level.
• Microsoft Office including Word Excel.
• Full UK Driving licence.

Desirable

• CSCS
• SMSTS / SSSTS
• Membership of a professional body (RICS/CICES)
• Previous experience with utility networks
• Experienced in AutoCAD Map3D / Civil 3D / GIS
• First Aid
