Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistants required as soon as possible
EYFS / ASD / SLD / PMLD32 ½ hours per week term time only plus training days (39 weeks per year)
Scale 6 pro-rata for the number of hours/weeks worked. (Actual Annual Salary £25,010)

Lindon Bennett School is a recently fully refurbished and expanding purpose built SEND primary school providing an exciting, innovative and personalised curriculum for all pupils who have either severe or profound learning difficulties, many of whom also have a diagnosis of Autism.
To meet the individual needs of our pupils, classes are small and you will work closely alongside a class teacher and other support staff.
We celebrate each child’s unique abilities and achievements in a creative and supportive environment.
We are looking to appoint highly motivated and enthusiastic teaching assistants with a real passion for, and commitment to working with children with complex learning needs, who already hold a Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent).
You will work under the instruction of teaching/senior staff to support access to learning for pupils and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. This will involve assisting the teacher with planning and assessment, including leading small group sessions and the management / preparation of resources.
