Job description
Our client, a Manufacturer of FMCG products based in Birmingham are currently looking to recruit a Logistics Manager
As the Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Strategically leading the distribution of products from site direct to Retailers
- Driving continuous improvement and raising quality standards
- Managing an onsite Vehicle Maintenance operation
- Leading a team of over 200 staff
- Supporting and developing the logistics team to maximise the effectiveness routes, pick operations and vehicle capacity
- Working closely with other peers across their other Manufacturing & Distribution sites
Successful candidates will need:
- Extensive experience in logistics management in the FMCG sector
- Proven track record of developing a team and implementing structure control measures
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion and a commitment to quality, innovation and sustainability
