Job description

An “Outstanding” Ofsted-rated SEN school in Islington is looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) . You will be supporting SEN pupils with complex needs who have physical disabilities . You will be working with secondary pupils who require personal care and feeding. This is a great opportunity for those with a keen interest to develop their SEN career.

Position details:

· Special Needs Teaching Assistant to start ASAP

· For at least one academic year (potentially longer or permanent for the right candidate)

· Full-time (Monday-Friday)

· Hours are 8:30am-4:00pm

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

· At least 3 months’ experience supporting special and additional needs in students with complex needs and physical disabilities

· Patience, empathy and resilience

· The ability to be proactive and organised
