Contract Type: Full-time
Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week
Salary: £27,800 - £29,901 per annum, including London Weighting

We have invested in our HR Team at our College where we have recently improved our HRIS and structure that will build a strong growth of proactive HR applications to help drive the College’s strategic objectives.
We are now looking for a Recruitment Assistant to work alongside and support our Recruitment Advisor and HR Team. You will ideally have worked in a busy Educational HR department with administrative and recruitment experience. You will join our lively team and support end-to-end recruitment. This is a fantastic opportunity to advise and work closely with our College managers and Senior Leadership Team.
We’re looking for an experienced recruitment assistant to join our team and become a trusted Assistant on all recruitment matters. You will be working closely with the wider HR team, internal stakeholders and Recruitment Advisor to undertake on-boarding processes and pre-employment checks for newly appointed staff and non-payroll staff. To provide a supportive customer-service approach to the recruitment team, managers, new employees and other stakeholders.
You’ll have previous experience in the full recruitment life cycle and assisting in hiring great talent:
The role will include but not be limited to:
Setting up candidate interviews and liaising with candidates
Managing diaries
System management: adding and amending records on our iTrent database and keeping accurate records of candidate interviews
Managing job portals and updating the team on job listings from assisting with Pre-employment checks
Proactively contacting candidates
On-boarding
The types of roles you’ll be recruiting for are varied across the College, including both Support and Teaching staff, Sessional and Agency workers, Volunteers and Consultants. We’d like you to have an open mind and flexibility to support the HR Team. We’re one team and share the workload when it’s busier than usual to ensure the best candidate and manager experience.
