The Opportunity
The Training Coordinator (Maternity Cover) role offers a salary of £25,742 - £29,605 per annum and has a hybrid-working pattern, with two days per week working on-campus in Edinburgh. We are ideally looking for full time hours (35hrs per week) but are committed to offering flexibility and would be happy to consider flexible working arrangements, such as compressed hours or longer breaks in the working day.
What the job involves:
Working with a diverse group of stakeholders across a large, complex organisation.
Planning, organising and coordinating online and classroom-based learning events and resources to develop student and staff digital skills.
Promoting our training offering, maintaining social media channels and answering enquiries to ensure awareness of and engagement with our services.
Mentoring a part-time Training and Event Coordinator student intern.
A bit about you:
Experience of planning and coordinating events and resources, preferably for skills development.
Ability to manage own workload.
Excellent and demonstrable organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Evidence of excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good at solving problems to find practical solutions.
