Job Description:
As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in conducting laboratory tests, analysing samples, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of scientific data. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with a background in Biological Sciences, Biology, or Microbiology to contribute to groundbreaking research and development projects.
Responsibilities:
Perform laboratory tests and experiments using a variety of quality techniques and equipment
Prepare and analyse samples, adhering to established protocols and procedures
Record and interpret data accurately, ensuring data integrity and quality control
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research projects and product development
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration and maintenance
Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Contribute to the development and optimization of laboratory protocols and procedures
Stay updated with industry trends, scientific advancements, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Biology, Microbiology, or a related field
Previous laboratory experience through internships, academic projects, or work placements is desirable
Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures
Proficiency in sample preparation, analysis, and data interpretation
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient in using laboratory equipment and computer software applications
