Position Overview

 

The principal objective of this Finance Manager position is to bolster the boards efforts in achieving profitable and sustained expansion. The role demands active participation in delivering crucial commercial and financial insights that inform our strategic decisions.

 

Core Responsibilities

 

- Offering valuable data that underpins informed decision-making across various timeframes.

- Generating monthly management accounts for the boards review.

- Collaborating closely with the Senior Management Team to enhance business growth, operational efficiency, and stringent governance.

- Coordinating with auditing partners to facilitate the production of yearly accounts, self-assessment documents, and P11d forms.

- Producing regular reports that track cash flow, revenue, and accounts receivable.

- Leading and enhancing the financial systems development.

- Drafting annual budgets and formulating a financial plan for the medium term.

- Conducting monthly reconciliations for control accounts including banking, payroll, and fixed assets.

- Managing both sales and purchase ledgers.

- Executing weekly payments to suppliers through banking software.

- Enhancing the credit control process and managing recoveries for overdue accounts.

- Contributing to bids and tenders as needed.

- Evaluating credit requests from prospective clients.

 

Essential Skills

 

- Profound knowledge in technical and management accounting, inclusive of VAT and payroll.

- Proficiency in Xero.

- Keen attention to detail coupled with the ability to adapt.

- Excellent communication abilities and a strong team player.
