Annual Salary: Leadership Scale L11 - L17 inner London (£69,526 - £79,017)
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Start date: September 2024
Aston Education is working with a secondary academy in Southwark, Southeast London (inner London), looking for a permanent Assistant Principal to lead on the Quality of Education.
As an Assistant Principal / Assistant Headteacher you will be responsible for ensuring that lessons provide pupils with a strong educational experience, through the delivery of high quality, consistently delivered learning experiences.
You are an inspirational colleague who will support in developing staff expertise in relation to Post 16 teaching. You will be able to demonstrate impact in leading the implementation of curriculum and/or teaching strategies.
You are an exceptional communicator who is deeply committed to supporting and developing others. You will also have oversight of the provision for ECTs.
The line management responsibilities include senior middle leaders, heads of department and faculty leads, and you will be sharing the curriculum and teaching and learning vision through distributed leadership.
