Job description

Are you a good communicator with a positive approach who is able to demonstrate a strong administration background to support our students with SEND? If so, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic administrator to join our very busy Learning Support Department to oversee the annual review process for students with Education, Health & Care Plans. The school has a specialist provision (The Sunil Centre) for students on the autistic spectrum; at LPSB there are an exceptionally high number of students with SEND so this is a very demanding role and requires exceptional organisational skills. The Administrator plays a pivotal role in supporting all students with SEND and is involved in the day to day running of a bustling department.

Ideally applicants will have:

·        Excellent administration and communication skills

·        an enthusiastic and flexible attitude and approach when supporting students

·        a positive mindset with the ability to inspire with a forward thinking problem solving approach at all times

·        a good sense of humour

·        proficient ICT skills

·        be committed to their professional development

·        a minimum of GCSE grade C or equivalent pass in Maths and English

The Learning Support Department comprises of a large team of dedicated staff who work with students with a wide range of special educational needs. The school has a designated specialist provision, The Sunil Centre, for children on the autistic spectrum so would welcome any experience in this area but it is not essential as training will be provided.
