Job description

We are a joinery manufacturer based in Horsford near Norwich, specialising in supplying bespoke timber windows, doors and frames for over forty years. Our family run business has a reputation for quality joinery.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Sales Assistant/Administrator ideally with previous experience of working in the Timber Window and Door Industry. The successful applicant must be accurate, numerate and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft programs and good organisational skills are vital. As this role involves direct contact with customers, excellent rapport with customers both on the telephone and in person is essential.

Job duties will include:
• Answering the telephone and dealing with customer queries
• Preparation of work to be estimated by gathering proposals, plans,
specifications and related documents
• Using Joinery Management Software to prepare quotations.
• Using CRM, Customer Relationship Management software.
• Serving customers and helping to load joinery onto their vehicles.
• Scanning in documents to the system.

Skills/Qualifications:
• Ability to learn the Timber window/door/building industry
• Excellent customer rapport, confident and likeable manner
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Computer literacy is essential, using emails, M/S Word and Excel

This is a full time position based on 40 hours per week Monday - Friday
