Job description

Plasterers are trained craftspeople who work with plaster and other materials to apply to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces. They employ a range of equipment and procedures to achieve smooth, level surfaces that are suitable for painting, wallpapering, or other finishing. Plasterers are essential in the construction and renovation of homes, businesses, and other structures.

Tasks required by this job includes:

Remove old plaster, trash, and other obstructions from surfaces.

To achieve the desired consistency, combine the plaster elements.

Using trowels, hawks, and other tools, apply plaster to walls and ceilings.

To achieve a flawless finish, smooth and level the plaster.

Repair any cracks, holes, or other flaws in the existing plaster.
