Our Marketing department is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the way in governance, compliance and delivery for our marketing strategic projects. This is a unique opportunity to deliver projects that ensure Harrods achieves its business goals, enhances customer satisfaction, and solidifies its position as the world's number one luxury retailer. About the Role Reporting into the Marketing Director, with a close connection to the Harrods Portfolio Management Office, you will provide project management expertise to lead both internal and external teams across various technical & business disciplines. You will manage marketing strategic projects (excluding campaigns) through all relevant stages of the project lifecycle. This will involve production of detailed plans and documentation, as well as continual leadership of project boards & teams for successful project delivery. As the Marketing Project Manager, you will also deliver transformational change within our Marketing department. This role plays a key link for our marketing department and the large amount of stakeholders from across the business who all feed into the marketing portfolio of projects. As a result, the role provides the opportunity to engage with these senior stakeholders, to Director level, and lay the expectations of support required to ensure the delivery of agreed project scope and benefit cases. Ensuring you establish and meet objectives, you will follow agreed governance and delivery frameworks and ensure the full realisation of benefits. Your successful delivery will be achieved through adherence to standard project management methodologies and best practice in line with Harrods Portfolio Management Office controls and procedures. About You You will be an experienced project manager; you do not need to come from a marketing background but you do need to be able to cope with varying levels of ambiguity. Ideally, you will have experience from a leading retailer with a demonstrable track record of experience leading large projects & programmes. You will be able to integrate agile delivery within a standard project framework and you will have the capability to establish & sustain effective professional relationships at all levels with a focus on service delivery. You will have experience in: Strong governance - risk/issue management, quality, budget, timescales, benefits Planning and control, using recognised planning tools e.g. Microsoft Office & Project, Planview, Smartsheets Adopting agile and waterfall methodologies to achieve optimal results Successful change management and transformation projects An ambiguous environment - you can capture the necessary requirements Working autonomously - you will be able to work on your own initiative and be empowered to build relationships About Us Harrods is one of the world’s leading luxury department stores and we’re becoming a destination for top designers, and the most sought-after brands from around the globe.
