Job Summary :
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Band 5 Anaesthetic/Scrub Practitioner to join Client's healthcare team in London. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures. You will be responsible for assisting the anaesthetist and surgeon, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of anaesthesia and maintaining sterile conditions in the operating theatre.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with administering safe and effective anaesthesia to patients.
- Prepare operating theatre and equipment for surgical procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anaesthesia levels as needed.
- Maintain sterile conditions and assist surgical team during procedures.
- Document patient care and provide emotional support to patients and families.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of department practices.
Requirements :
- Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) qualification.
- HCPC Number
- Proven experience in anaesthetic/scrub practice.
- Knowledge of anaesthetic techniques, surgical procedures, and aseptic techniques.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
