Operating from sites close to our key customers in North America and Europe, the MB Aerospace group provides advanced technological solutions to the Aerospace and Defence industry, leveraging an in-depth knowledge of fabrications, machining and the global supply chain to support complex aero-engine component manufacture and repair
SUMMARY:
Mechanical Assembly/Fitter required for Aerospace/Defence Company.
I. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assemble and fit a range of products to strict procedures and requirements.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, large fixtures and precision measuring equipment.
• In-process testing of sub-assemblies.
• Ensure traceability of parts and equipment throughout the assembly process.
• Create and maintain a team focused work environment.
• Seek out, identify and participate in Continuous Improvement opportunities.
• Responsible for general housekeeping and cleanliness of working area.
• Maintain a team focused work environment
• Adhere to all policies and procedures
• Competent in Health & Safety
• Support “Best Practices” to achieve company goals for safety, delivery, cost and quality.
• Extensive in-house training will be provided.

III. EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Previous experience in assembly/fitting.
• Relevant mechanical qualifications ideal but not essential
