Overtime Widely Available
Shift Allowance + 25%
Shift 1: Monday Thursday 6am till 2pm - Friday 6am till 12pm
Shift 2: Monday Thursday 2pm till 11:30pm - Friday OFF
Designing, manufacturing, and building precision components for the defense sector, our client are leaders in their industry. Backed by a global organisation, we are now seeking new and experienced CNC Turner/Millers to join the business.
Job description
The role of CNC Turning, setter operator will include the following duties:
* Program Jobs unaided from drawings using Fanuc Control
* Load tooling with correct offsets
* Upload Programs
* Run the jobs to completion to our exacting standards
The ideal candidate will:
* Have proven experience of programming, setting and operating Turning machines using Fanuc controls
* Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship however experience is the overriding factor.
* Overtime/additional hours may be required, depending on the workload of the business.
* Be able to work well on their own as well as part of a team.
* Producing high-quality work to fine tolerances.
* Professional and self-motivated attitude.
* Good organisational & time management skills.
