Job description
Doing Amazing Things Together
We’re all about possibilities. Are you?
Are you flexible, adaptable and quick at thinking on your feet?
Do you have enough curiosity and patience to work out how somebody feels?
Become a Bank Support Worker
What matters to the people we support matters to us. It’s their life, their way.
We support a variety of individuals who live in their own homes in Oban and we're looking for new people to join our team.
You will be working in their homes, so it’s important you can connect, share interests and be interested. From making a cuppa on their own to finding their place in community, the people we support have their own goals to shoot for and milestones to reach.
So, if you enjoy building meaningful relationships and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support with and alongside people, then this is the place for you.
Affinity Trust does not presently hold a Sponsorship Licence and while this status is reviewed regularly there is no present proposal to apply for such a Licence
Why Join Us?
What will we do?
We will train you in everything you need to be a great support worker and pay for your PVG.
What will you do?
Supporting people is really important but it’s not all activities and days out. We also support people to take medication, assist with personal care, make healthy lifestyle choices and maintain their home in a way that they feel safe, well and happy.
It sounds exciting to say no two days will be the same, but in support, sometimes they are. Sometimes people like routine and struggle with change… But when you support someone to try something new – what a feeling!
If you want to empower our people in Oban to live the life they choose and you share our values… Apply to become a bank support worker today.
