This is an exciting opportunity to teach A-level Chemistry in a highly successful, academic sixth form college. Chemistry is a popular subject at the sixth form with strong progression to University. We are looking for an inspirational teacher who will inspire a passion for Chemistry in our motivated and highly engaged students. Newcastle Sixth Form College is the largest provider of A Levels in Newcastle-upon-Tyne with over 1300 students on a full-time academic programme.
At Newcastle Sixth Form College we want to enable teachers to be their best; our standard full-time teacher is responsible for four blocks of subject teaching (20 hours) and an hour of enrichment per week. In addition to this we offer pay, terms and conditions commensurate with schools and sixth form colleges.

You will combine a full-time role teaching in a leading national A Level centre in the heart of Newcastle Upon Tyne alongside a team of professionals, whilst completing your PGCE one evening per week, being paid a competitive full time graduate salary.
