Job Introduction

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, compliance with relevant regulations, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive payroll information. The Payroll Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation's financial integrity and employee satisfaction.

You will work in a small team, supporting the Payroll Manager to ensure accurate and timely processing of all forms of compensation and benefits. The dept manage multiple payrolls for the business and you’ll enjoy a busy working environment.

Main Responsibilities

Payroll Processing:

• Process and manage accurate and timely payroll for all employees.
• Ensure complete UK & US legislative compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding payroll.

Data Accuracy and Maintenance:

• Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring accuracy of information.
• Regularly audit and reconcile payroll data to identify and correct discrepancies.

Reporting and Analytics:

• Generate and analyse payroll reports to support financial and management reporting.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on payroll data analysis.

Customer Service:

• Address and resolve employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits.
• Collaborate with HR and other departments to provide excellent customer service.

Person Specification

• iTrent Knowledge (Including Sys Admin functions)
• Advanced UK Legislation knowledge (including benefits, ERS etc)
• US Payroll Processing & US Legislation Knowledge
• P11d Processing – PAS System
• Advanced Excel Skills
• BOXI Report Writing (SAP BI Launch Pad)
• CIPP – Foundation Degree minimum
