Job description
RGS Worcester invites applications for the position of Teacher of Classics. The Department has a superb record of academic success and the successful candidate would be required to teach throughout the 11 – 18 age range and have a willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the school.
Classics and Latin are thriving subjects at RGS Worcester. Many of the most able and enthusiastic pupils at RGS choose to pursue Classical Civilisation or Latin to GCSE and beyond. The department currently consists of a full-time Head of Department, alongside two full-time colleagues, a member of SLT, plus members of the History and English departments teaching sets at KS3. The person appointed will have every opportunity to demonstrate their dynamism and creativity, as well as to develop their own strengths in any branch of the Classics curriculum.
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic teacher to join the Department. The successful candidate will have a passion for their subject and an ambition to make positive steps in their teaching career.
