Assistant Audit & Accounts Manager - AGILE/FLEXIBLE WORK PATTERN OFFERED (can be a combination of office and home-based) and can consider part-time 4 days/week
Goldhawk Associates are supporting a client looking to appoint an Assistant Audit & Accounts Manager. Our client is a prestigious firm of accountants based on the Kent/Sussex border, they are an innovative firm with a unique ethos. As an Assistant Manager, you will support the Managers and you will provide a range of services including audits, accounts, taxation, and other business services.
Ideally, you will be ACA qualified or nearing the end of your studies with at least two/three years' experience within the audit and accountancy field. Full training and development are offered and support with studies to then progress is encouraged and supported.
You will be working in a team and will be responsible for audit and accountancy support for their client base with an approximate ratio of 80% audit; 20% accounting services depending on the workload.
Duties will include:
-Manage the audit process whilst on-site, including managing the audit team
-Carry out audit planning with the audit team
-Communicate with Client Managers to inform them of budget or timescale issues
-Manage a portfolio of varied clients
-Manage budgets and workflow
-Accounts production for companies, LLP's and charities
-Liaising with other departments for connected services such as personal tax returns, forms P11D, and company secretarial matters
