Vetro Education are seeking to recruit experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across Primary schools in Cardiff. The schools support learners in both Key Stage 1 and Key stage 2 and as a result Vetro Education are looking for Teaching Assistants in or around the Whitchurch area Cardiff who are experienced in these roles

Overview:
Title: Teaching Assistant
Pay: £75.90 per day minimum
Location: Whitchurch , Cardiff
Hours: Ad Hoc, Short Term and Long Term - Monday to Friday 830am - 330pm

The role: What you'll be doing as a Teaching Assistant
Supporting and supervising educational games, sports and craft activities
Helping children with their reading
Preparing the classroom for a lesson
Working with pupils in small groups/ and or working 1:1 with children with additional needs
Support the class teacher in the delivery of the lessons
Assist pupils at break time with their lunch
Engage pupils in the classroom and out of classroom activities
Work in accordance to the schools behaviour management policies
The candidate: What you'll need to be successful as a Teaching Assistant
At least 3 months experience of working with children in schools, nurseries or childcare settings - experience within an SEN setting would be beneficial
Registration with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
References covering the last two years (no gaps)
Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
