We are currently searching for a hard working Underground Fibre cabling team to work in multiple areas such as Central & Fyfe, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dumfries, Lanarkshire, Ayreshire & Clyde South to complete requirements for multiple contracts.
The role will include
- Carry out risk assessments on the tablets provided and photograph all completed works
- Digging Trenches and other Civils duties
- Be competent at interpreting job packs
- Follow specific details and instructions regarding cable routing
- Understand the importance of SLG and be competent at correctly distributing it on site to ensure compliance and safety
- Pulling in lengths of underground cable
- Capable of blowing fibre cable when required
Skills and qualifications
- NRSWA Unit 2
- SPEN Authorisation
- SA001 and/or SA002
- K8
- S7
- Confined spaces
- Smart Awards (NOPS)
- Relevant Openreach recognised accreditations
- Full UK Driving license- qualified to drive MEWP
SPEN Authorisation is required!
