Job description
A Local Authority is looking for multiple Qualified Social Workers to join their Locality team. These are all Permanent placements that offer a great amount of support with progression opportunities.
The team works from a strengths-based (Signs of Safety) approach to meet the needs of young people and their families. They have a diverse variety of casework and have dedicated and regular senior management support alongside progression opportunities for the successful candidates.

Responsibilities of you as a Social Worker:
- Ensure the best outcomes for the children and young people.
- Provide support and protection for children and young people in need and at risk.
- To manage and prioritise the workload, carry out duties using accountable professional judgement.
- To undertake complex and high-risk cases or arrange complex or high value packages of care.
- Support children and young people through robust assessment, outcome focused planning and effective intervention to support them in achieving positive outcomes within their families and communities
Requirements of you as the Social Worker:
- Social Care Wales registration
- A recognised qualification in Social Work
- A full UK driving licence
- DBS clearance
- Authority to work in the UK

Salary scale: £38,223 - £42,403 dependent on experience
