It is due to sustained growth and a very healthy order book that we are now recruiting an additional Structural Engineer with experience working on steel framed buildings, to join a well-established and successful steelwork engineering company based in West Mids nr Dudley / Brierley Hill. A very good starting salary (with paid overtime available), friendly working environment and rewarding career is on offer.

The successful Structural Engineer will join the existing Design team and will work on their own projects as well as in a team at times. The Engineering team use a variety of software including the Trimble/Tekla Design Suite. Projects are typically stick and beam & portals.

Structural Engineer core duties are:

• Producing steelwork designs / calcs for steel sections/frames and some connection designs too.
• Provide technical design advice to internal Drawing Office as required.

This opportunity would suit a Structural Engineer with experience working on steel framed buildings. We will also consider applications from graduate Structural Engineers with a minimum of 12 months experience working on live steelwork projects.
