A Vacancy at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust.

We seek and experienced and innovative administrator who will work as part of the Harrow Children’s Services providing comprehensive high-level administrative support to the Head of Harrow Children’s Services as well as other senior managers within the service lines.

Harrow Children’s Services include Harrow 0-19 services, Children Looked after service, Community Children’s and special nursing services ,Paediatric Physiotherapy , Occupational therapy and Speech and language therapy and Community Paediatrics.

Duties will include diary management, minute taking , word processing, problem solving and management of day to day queries. The post holder must possess good IT skills and be able to analyse and interpret data. He/she will have excellent communication skills and will maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation. The post holder will work with minimal supervision and be expected to work flexibly as part of a multi-disciplinary team with colleagues who are based across different sites and/or who work remotely
• To provide comprehensive administrative support to the Head of Service and Senior Management Team.
• To act as the initial point of contact for Head of Service for internal staff and external organisations.
• To deal with telephone calls and accurately record and pass messages appropriately, presenting a welcoming and professional image for the department and Trust
• To maintain overall responsibility of computer diaries, including booking and organisation of meetings; and ensure effective time management for the Head of Service and SMT, including maintaining an effective bring forward system
• To manage the process of New Starters, leavers , change circumstances and support confidential HR meetings / interviews
• To organise meetings/committees, to provide minute taking service as required
• To provide draft correspondence to a high standard on behalf of the Head of Service.
• To provide advanced knowledge of a range of IT applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

You will be joining a supportive and sociable multidisciplinary team who support services to children, young people and their families in Harrow .

Working as a key member of the administrative service you will report to the operations manager and have access to regular supervision , appraisal and personal development plan .

The service is committed to working in partnership with colleagues within Health Education and Social care and you will be expected to support and develop these partnerships liaising with key partners on behalf of the management team .
