Would you like to join a vibrant research lab in the University of Bath?
About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Postdoctoral Associate to join our team of scientists and conduct translational research in biopharmaceutics.
Selected candidate will join research projects sponsored by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation focusing on developing new tools to accelerate global health paediatric drug development.
The goal is to ’Link lab to patient’ with the development of reliable, predictive and physiologically relevant in vitro and in silico models of oral drug absorption as a function of age that can be used to facilitate the paediatric drug/formulation development process.
In this role, a typical day may include: generating in vitro biopharmaceutics data (solubility, dissolution, etc.) and translating in vitro results using PBPK modelling.
This is a fixed-term position for 24 months.
Additional information:
Minimum Qualifications
Education Required: Ph.D. in Basic Science, Pharmacy or other Health Science, Engineering or a related field;
At least one year of experience in generating in vitro biopharmaceutics data and HPLC analysis;
At least one year of experience in PBPK modelling
