Senior FP&A Analyst

Objectives:
The Senior FP&A Analyst will provide business critical insight and analysis on forecasts and actuals enabling senior management to make strategic, operational and financial decisions. The role will have extensive exposure to Finance Director, Finance Business Partners and Commercial Operations Team. Highlighted key responsibilities:
- Responsible for consolidation and forecasting of Sales to Gross Margin Level (including Cost of Sales, Distribution, distressed inventory, Exchange, Other Manufacturing costs etc.)
- Analysis of price/ volume variance analysis and movements at a brand/ indication level
- Monthly Standard Margin review process across all products, providing variance analysis – share files with FD/ FP&A Manager.
- Financial Ownership of Commercial Controlling Cost Centre.
- Financial Ownership of Distribution Contracts – providing key support to Commercial Operations Manager on Forecasts as well as contract compliance in line with Financial Policies
- Key Owner for Affiliate Planning Cycles – PLN/ UPD/ LRP – supporting FP&A Manager and FD in all cycles including deck preparation, building deck narratives, output files, BPC loads etc.
- Key contact to UK Finance Business Partners and Europe Area Team to provide support on queries around monthly LBE/ ADS and planning cycles input and sales forecasts submissions (ADS).
- Preparation of the S&OP deck on a monthly basis providing critical business analysis to General Manager and Commercial Directors
- Power BI Champion for UK Affiliate – supporting wider Finance Team to utilise PBi to enhance data visualisations
- Planning Systems subject Matter expert – providing guidance and support at a local level where required
- Mentoring FP&A Analyst, encouraging all coaching and development
- Any other project work as defined by FP&A Manager/FD
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
- Qualified accountant with at least 3 years PQE (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent professional experience.
- Builds strong relationships with peers and cross functionally and with partners outside of team to enable higher performance.
