Job description

We are recruiting for a Pig Stockperson for a farm in Dorset (DT2).

Our client seeks to employ an individual who, ideally, has experience with dry sows.

The producer is a progressive enterprise investing in new technologies and people.

Their indoor pig unit is part of a larger farming business so that it can offer great career opportunities and excellent training.

The successful applicant would be assisting with the day-to-day duties with dry sows, so they will need:

• Ideally, previous pig experience with dry sows & servicing
• High welfare standards
• A can-do attitude & ambition
• Good attention to detail
• To be flexible and able to work weekends
• To have the ability to work to high standards without supervision

Our client will consider applicants with less experience as full training is available. 

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 DOE
