Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Managing Director to join the team.
Location: South Wales
Salary: GBP90,000 to GBP110,000 per annum
Job Type: Full–Time, Permanent
About The C lient :
The client we are working with is a well–established organisation at the forefront of manufacturing high–quality electrical components for a variety of industries. They have a turnover of GBP10m and place a large focus on precision engineering and innovative solutions, consistently aiming to deliver a best practice product and service to their client base.
Managing Director The Role:
This is a pivotal role for the organisation, responsible for consolidating their relationships with key accounts in key industries and subsequently leading the business into new markets. The successful individual will have full P&L ownership as well as full control of their manufacturing and production activities.
Managing Director Key Responsibilities:
– Leading on all commercial activities, both account management and developing strategy to enter new markets
– Provide strategic direction and leadership to drive company profitability and growth
– Oversee the manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production operations while maintaining high–quality standards
– Manage the financial performance of the company and analyse financial data to identify areas for improvement and long–term sustainability
Managing Director You:
– Minimum 8 years experience in a manufacturing environment
– Strong commercial background with ability to build long–term relationships with customers
– Highly strategic individual with proven experience in developing business strategy
– Ideally from a technical/engineering background
