This position is for a Management Accountant in the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial information to assist in decision making, as well as ensuring the financial integrity of the company.

Ideal candidate will be based 30 minute commutable distance from Uxbridge.

Description

As an successful Management Accountant you will:

• Prepare monthly financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Provide financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
• Contribute to the financial planning and strategic growth of the company.
• Work closely with other team members in the Accounting & Finance department.
• Implement and manage financial systems and software.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
• Work with the CPT based transactional entry team as well as the management accountants (Transactional team) based in Uxbridge
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Accountant with prior experience of working in an accounting team
• Proven experience in a similar role within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain industry would be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems and databases.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and strategic planning skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
