Job description

A client in Upminster, Essex is looking for a temporary live-out full-time carer to help an elderly person with mobility and provide assistance with the daily living tasks. This is for a temporary role and the candidate is expected to work for around 3 months.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, approximately 8 hours a day.

Duties include:

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the elderly person
• organising and taking the elderly person to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the elderly person manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the elderly person and their interests and needs

The client would like the Carer to start as soon as possible but they are flexible with the start date for the suitable candidate.
