WHAT TO EXPECT

Working within Solihull Body Construction CME department, you will provide production shift support to maintain delivery and dimensional quality targets and drive dimensional problem resolution and quality improvement. 

You will be a key team member for improving dimensional capability by utilising inline measurement machines and promoting dimensional process control throughout the Body Shops and within the production teams.

You will be expected to work on a shift pattern.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

•    Analyse and Report Inline Measurement Data and Shift to Shift Trends.
•    Support VRT meetings and VRT Problem Resolution Process.
•    Operate the Reaction Plan to any Measurement Alarm.
•    Support Problem Investigation (Production level zero checklist)
•    Monitor and Maintain Inline Measurement Machine accuracy.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 
Knowledge, Skills and Experience

•    Ability to analyse and interpret dimensional data.
•    Ability to solve problems and naturally strive for continuous improvement.
•    Attention to detail and analytical skills.
•    Computer and Software skills
•    Ability to report clearly, coordinate and handover across a 3-shift system.  
•    Understanding of process capability and SPC 
•    Knowledge of Quality Operating Systems procedures
•    Experience within Body Construction or similar high-volume manufacturing
